VQA Prince Edward County

This wine takes its roots from the Melon de Bourgnogne white grapes that are grown primarily in the Loire valley region of France and adopting the name of Muscadet. Here at Casa Dea we have used our VQA grapes and developed a wonderfully balanced wine. The wine is very dry and not too acidic.

Fragrant, medium-high intensity nose has attractive aromas of lemon, citrus, pear, apple, herbs, and spices. There is very good weight and concentration on the medium-full bodied palate with deliciously ripe replays of pear, apple, herbs and citrus joined by brioche and smoke notes with just a kiss of sweetness. It has clean, fresh acidity, while stony mineral notes emerge on the long, satisfying finish. Tasted Apr. 2023.
