Produced from ripe, sweet, local strawberries in peak summer season. Fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Appearance: Transparent but rich pink-red in colour.
Nose: A heady aroma of strawberry jam, a field of fresh strawberries.
Palate: A strongly unique combination of medium-acidity and semi sweet, perfect for summertime sipping.
Food pairings: Try it with mild cheeses like Leicester, Mozzarella, Doux de Montagne, or cream Havarti. Drizzle over ice cream or cheesecake or add to strawberry shortcake glaze. Add a splash of sparkling wine/water for a bubbly strawberry sensation, or try it in a punch. Pairs perfectly with rich, dark chocolate. For the adventurous, add it to a homemade vinaigrette!
