TASTING NOTES: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Shiraz, Petit Verdot. Laura’s Red is a meticulous blend of red vinifera varieties to make a wine with strong structure and ageing potential but also with a core of good fruit and earlier drinkability. Just as every vintage is different, every vintage of Laura’s Red is a different blend to make the best wine possible.

FOOD PAIRINGS: Grilled flank steak with an authentic chimichurri sauce is ideal. The bold protein softens the structure of the tannins, while the herbs of the chimichurri sauce bring out all those delightful savoury herbs from the mid-palate. Not a carnivore? Might we suggest forest mushroom risotto with a healthy helping of shaved parmesan Reggiano?

Appearance: Deep purple colour.
Nose: Cedary, black plum, and blackcurrant nose with vanilla with oak spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, spicy, plum and currant flavours with grainy tannins. Firmly structured with well-integrated oak.
Quality: 88 – 90 points. Very Good+ / Outstanding. Can be sampled now, but will reward cellaring 1 - 2 years.

Food Pairing: Pepperoni pizza, salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, hatch chili-pepper smash burgers, Tuscan-style grilled tuna steaks, and cream cheese-stuffed mushrooms.
