Sauvignon Blanc, 2021

Soft pear with zingy yuzu, white grapefruit and pea pod aromatics on the nose. The palate shows pear, Meyer lemon, gooseberry and pea pod flavours. Very pleasing mouthfeel with crisp citrus acidity. Classic Sauvignon Blanc character!

2021’s growing season was gloriously warm and dry through to the end of summer. Autumn rains made harvest challenging, but we managed to work around the fronts and get all of our Sauvignon Blanc fields in unscathed by the wet weather. The vintage brought us a nice balance between great fruit character and herbaceous notes, with refreshing acidity to tie it all together.

Food Pairing: Goat cheese crostini, fresh summer salads, grilled asparagus, oysters, ceviche, white fish with herbs and lemon, fish tacos.
