Nadja's Vineyard Riesling, 2020
Shipped and sold by Flat Rock Cellars
A classic example of the vineyard doing the work. The broken dolomitic limestone below a thin layer of top soil provide this Riesling with fresh minerality, and rich stone fruit characteristics. A balanced example of the way natural acidity and natural sugars can play on the palate to leave one wanting more.
Tasting Notes: Lime, orange blossom and peach on the nose with hints of wet stone. The stone fruit and citrus play together on the palate with a beautiful mineral backbone. It's opulent and complex with a fresh finish of acidity that dances on the tongue.
Residual sugar: 18 g/L
The 2020 vintage was a featured wine in December's Wine Club package, 2022.

Nose: Lightly floral, minerally, grapefruit zest nose.
Palate: Just off-dry with lemony-grapefruit flavours and bracing acidity. Very much in Rheingau style, succulent on the palate with unconscionable length.
