A rather unique (or shall we say Twisted) blend of Gamay (62%), Merlot (24%), Cabernet Franc (9%) & Pinot Noir (5%). Each component was aged separately in barrel before selecting the final blend through rigarous tasting trials. The Cabernet Franc marries the intense fruit flavours and aromas of the Gamay to the more textural elements carried by the Merlot.
Tasting Notes: The tactile sensentaion is all Cab-Merlot with bold ripe tannins while elegant bright fruit aromas and flavours from the Gamay jump out of the glass. Medium body with velvety tannins and a long, smooth finish that keeps you coming back for more.
