The mouthlling richness of Pinot Noir and the crisp acidity of Chardonnay come together to create an expressive, complex and vibrant Traditional Method sparkling wine. The nose shows notes of brioche and citrus, while the palate offers a mix of creaminess and fruit. With a nish that feels like more!
Winemaker's Notes: A traditional blend of Pinot Noir (61%) and Chardonnay (39%) from specialy selected hand-picked blocks of our Estate Vineyard. Whole cluster pressed, fermented and aged in neutral oak barrels prior to an 18 month bottle fermentation.
Critic's Rating
This is quite rich, toasty bubbly with caramel apple, lees and fried onion on the nose (a nuance I really like). It is mid-weight, almost creamy in texture, just off dry with very good acidity. Nicety tart and lemony on the finish. The length is excellent. Good value in traditional method bubbly. Tasted October 2019
