Chardonnay
The newest incarnation of The Rusty Shed Chardonnay is the product of a humid, but moderate growing season followed by a warm and dry fall bringing optimal harvest conditions. This wine first shows citrus fruit coupled with chalky minerality, all vibrating around a backbone of acidity. The palate then opens up and highlights sweet spices and a creamy texture resulting from 10 months of development in French Oak barrels. Delicious now, but will age gracefully for a decade or more.
