Merlot
Cherry red with a garnet tint, the nose is greeted with a chorus of black fruit (cherry, plum, berry) supported by a savoury herbal blend (thyme, sage, bay leaf) and a hint of violet. Blackcurrant, black berry glass-coating flavours emerge upon aeration and unfold on the palate buoyed by a youthful tannic structure. Best to carafe one hour before service.
