Mulberry Tree Vineyard Riesling, 2018

2018 Similkameen Valley 750 mL, 11.5% ALC/VOL

Riesling

Powerful, crisp, racy and like a mouthful of wet stones. The texture is fleshing out nicely to balance the strong mineral acidity. As the vines age, the Riesling grapes are showing more stone fruit and exotic citrus notes along with the lime and green apple giving added complexity. The lees ageing and short skin contact gives a savoury, zesty note to add to the fruit and the finish is full of chalky minerality.

Wild fermented from the organic Mulberry Tree Vineyard, this wine sees a light filtration prior to bottling but is otherwise made in a natural way with low sulfur additions.
