The 2018 Pied de Cuve Riesling is a bone dry, textural Riesling showing the intense minerality that comes from our Mulberry Tree Vineyard. A rich gold in colour with an intense nose of lime zest, nectarine, honey, orange zest, mandarin orange and apple peel. The palate is fully dry (<1g/l RS), crisp, racy and intense with a rich texture and lots of stony, salty mineral notes, citrus zest, lime juice and subtle baking spice on the long finish. A powerful, full-bodied Riesling.
This wine is made with little intervention. Organic grapes, wild ferment, old neutral barrels, lees aging and bottled unfined and unfiltered with a low sulfur dose. That's how all our Pied de Cuve wines are made.
