Aged 8 months in stainless steel with French oak chips. Deep aromas of black cherry, roasted red pepper, cocoa, cranberry, and baking spices. Flavours of chocolate and cherry cola on a full-bodied, rich, and juicy palate with firm tannin and a rich, long finish.

    Appearance: Bright, semi-opaque. Lovely deep ruby core.
    Nose: Jammy red cherry, strawberry, candied notes. Green herbs, green pepper. Earth.
    Palate: Medium acid, medium tannin, medium body. Strawberry jam, cherry pie, baking spice, black pepper, green herbs. Blueberry and blackberry. Black tea.
    Quality: Very Good+. 89 points. Drink now or hold 1-2 years.


    Food Pairing: Barbecued eggplant pizzas, pork belly ramen, grilled sausages with polenta and tapenade, pork tenderloin with spicy soy glaze, and baby-back ribs with honey-mustard glaze.
