TASTING NOTESCitrus and apple aromas promise a bright and lively wine. Refreshes the palate with flavours of apple, pear, peach and a lemony twist. Pair with any white fish, roast chicken, scallop and shrimp dishes. Also will complement pasta primavera or a summer salad.
VINTAGE & VITICULTUREWhile the season began with a wet cool spring, summer brought typical temperatures across Ontario. July was particularly warm and sunny with intense heat waves and high humidity. Early-ripening grape varieties escaped the wild weather of late fall and the unusual early cold snap in November. Harvest extended into early December, sometimes taking place in the snow.
WINEMAKER’S NOTESThe Chardonnay juice was 100% stainless steel fermented and aged. This wine shows some true varietal aromas and flavours without the influence of oak or malolactic fermentation. This gives the wine its fruity character and fresh bouquet.
