TASTING NOTESCharacteristic peach and apricot aromatics with a rich texture of honey, peach and apricot on the palate. Sweetness is balanced by a refreshing acidity on the finish, always a sign of a well-made dessert wine. Pair with like flavours in a peach or apricot fruit flan or melba or try contrasting with a rich páté or creamy soup at the beginning of a meal.
VINTAGE & VITICULTUREGrapes were harvested from our oldest 12-acre block of Vidal vines planted in 1981.
WINEMAKER’S NOTESThe juice used to produce our Select Late Harvest is drawn from a second pressing of our award-winning Vidal Icewine juice. After the first pressing of juice for the Icewine the second pressing yields a slightly less sweet juice that is then fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to highlight the complexity of stone fruit components found in Vidal.
