WINEMAKING

A delicate, dry ‘Rosato’ Italian style rosé made from 100% Sangiovese grapes hand-harvested from the Sandhill Estate Vineyard, Block C9. The grapes were gently pressed with minimal skin contact for an ever so delicate rosé colour. The juice was cold settled and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a cool temperature to preserve the fresh aromatics. The wine was aged in neutral French oak barrels for 3 months. with lees contact to develop the structure and complexity.
