Sourced from the Okanagan Valley near Osoyoos, this Syrah is aged 17 months in mostly new American Oak barrels and boasts elegance, finesse and classic varietal characteristics of pepper and spice. It is clean, rich and full of dark red fruit. This is a wine that loves grilled meats and hearty cheeses.
Awards: The 2012 vintage of this wine was awarded The Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Excellence in British Columbia Wines.
The 2015 vintage won Bronze at the 2018 All Canadian Wine Championships

Nose: Cedary, toasty, mulberry nose with oak spice and a note of rose petal.
Palate: Full-bodied, dry, fleshy and elegant blackberry and mulberry flavours with fresh acidity. Beautifully balanced. Juicy on the palate with a long finish.
Quality: 92 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding. Drink now or hold 1 - 2 years.
Food Pairing: Smoky cedar-planked burger with jalapeño-cilantro mayo, lemon and five-spice barbecued chicken, spicy lentil tahini wrap, yogurt-marinated lamb kebabs with lemon butter, and barbecued ribs with cucumber tomato salad.
