Tasting Notes: Deep garnet colour with a ruby depth. White pepper and maraschino cherry opening up to dark chocolate. Smooth warmth, candied red cherry, notes of cranberry with a balanced finish of berry.
Winemaker’s Notes: The Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from vineyards on the Beamsville Bench and near Vineland, with a bit of the Cabernet Franc from vineyards we manage. Dried with airflow only for over 30 days with final Brix averages of 29.3 (Cab Franc), 27.5 (Cab Sauv) and 34.2 (Merlot). All aging was finished in French and American oak barrels for almost five years.
