Pinot Noir Cuvée, 2021

2021 Okanagan Valley 750 mL, 14% ALC/VOL
$51.85
Pinot Noir

A very aromatic vintage, the 2021 has a wonderful mix of red rose, blackberry, cherry, and fresh herbs. The palate is polished, with dusty tannins and balanced acids, hinting that this wine will age gracefully. Flavours of red plum and liquorice linger on the finish. Pair with Maui ribs, mushroom risotto, bresaola.

Enjoy now or cellar up to 10 years.

Winemaking: Dijon clones 115, 828, 667, and Pommard were hand harvested and destemmed into small batches. Each batch was cold soaked for 5-7 days before fermentation by indigenous yeasts. The total time on skins was 16 to 21 days. After gently pressing, the wine was moved to French oak for a period of 13 month, with approximately 40% being new barrels. Our Cuvée blend varies each year depending on the winemaker’s selection.

Source: Fruit sourced from Golden Retreat Vineyard in Summerland and our estate in South East Kelowna.
