Oak Bay Reserve Schonburger, 2017
Shipped and sold by St. Hubertus & Oak Bay Estate Winery
The perfect grape from the North Okanagan, this beautifully aromatic variety originated from the vineyards of northern Europe. Pinot Noir crossed with Chasselas Rose/Muscat Hamburg. The Pinot makes it perfect for the Okanagan cool-climate growing conditions.
A powerful nose with rose petal, tropical fruit and aromas of candied apricot, white flowers, baking spices and wet stone. Beautiful with sushi, shellfish, Thai style cuisine or rich Quebec cheeses, this rare variety has the ability to complement an unusually wide range of foods and is especially suited to spicy cuisine.
This is a featured wine in July's Wine Club package.
