The 2019 vintage provided very good conditions to produce concentrated and ripe wines. Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months, this Gamay shows enthusing aromas of cranberry, black pepper and graphite. On the palate, it is light-bodied, juicy and vibrant, and the finish is well-balanced.
Food Pairings: Gamay Noir is a lighter and very easy drinking wine that pairs beautifully with lighter fare such as beef carpaccio, sausage pizza or a pork rillette with balsamic mustard. The 2019 Tawse Gamay Noir is also a wine that can be enjoyed all on its own.
