Grower's Blend Pinot Noir, 2021
Shipped and sold by Tawse Winery
VQA Niagara Peninsula
Sourced from select Niagara Peninsula vineyards (48% Estate’s – 52% Grower’s). Viticultural practices included vertical shoot thinning, cluster thinning and hand leaf removal.
Winemaker's Comments: Aged in French Oak barrels for 12 months, this Pinot Noir shows beautiful aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum and oak spice. On the palate, it is dry, light to medium-bodied, showing enthusing fruity flavours of cherry, blackberry, smoke and churned soil. The finish is balanced, round and the tannins are moderate.
Food Pairings: Always a go to food pairing wine, the Grower’s Blend Pinot Noir will match perfectly with beef Bourguignon, grilled chicken, salmon or pork chop, charcuterie platter, light pasta and tomato sauce dishes, etc.
