Winemaker’s Comments
The 2020 Tawse Chardonnay is a blend from carefully sourced hand-harvested fruit from select vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula. This wine is an excellent example of terroir, vintage, and represent great value! Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, this wine is vibrant and exhibits aromas and flavours of quince, apple pie and caramel. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, round, and well- balanced.
Drink now or age through to 2025!
Food Pairings
The 2020 Tawse Chardonnay with its fruit and caramel flavours will pair beautifully with roast lobster with tarragon butter or chicken picatta with creamy parmesan polenta. This is also a wine that is delightful all on its own!
