Tasting Notes:Â The glass is bursting with aromas of dark cherry syrup, cedar, and iron. A decadent blend of dried black currants & oaky tannin floods the palate.
Food Pairing:Â Enjoy this wine alongside some chicken liver mousse and berry compote or game meat sausages.
Winemaker Notes:Â The fruit for this wine was harvested from our Crispino Vineyard in the Vinemount Ridge Sub-appellation on November 5th. After ferment, the wine was aged in 33% new oak for 19 months.
