Tasting Notes
Color: Deep ruby
Nose: Blackberry, raspberry sauce, cocoa
Palate: Cherry, currant, berries, vanilla, developed tannins

Winemaking
This Proprietors ‘blend is comprised of 49% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc and 24% Syrah. A very small amount of this fruit was brought in from a terraced vineyard Reluctant Dragon, just North of Summerland. The fruit was all co-fermented in barrels that were stood up and their heads taken off. The juice received gentle punch downs daily. A small press was used to press this wine and it then went into 2 second-fill barrels for 18 months.
