The golden hue of our Chardonnay shows the barrel fermentation components and gentle ageing of this wine. The nose is full of spice, clove and nutmeg before fresh nectarine and lemon zest giving it a delicate lift. The palate is rich but still very bright and refreshing with golden apple crispness, yellow grapefruit, before finishing with a buttery macadamia nut cookie, or almond biscotti note.
The 2019 vintage was a featured wine in January's Wine Club package, 2022.

Appearance: Bright, straw colour.
Nose: Spicy, apple bouquet with toasty oak notes.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, clove, apple and toast flavours with well-integrated oak. Beautifully balanced, great length finishing on a lingering note of oak spice.
Quality: 91 points. Outstanding. Drink now through 2022.
Food Pairing: Butternut squash soup, soft-shell crab mac and cheese, hazelnut-crusted pork chops with glazed carrots, fettuccine alfredo, and seafood terrine.
