A smooth and balanced red wine to enjoy while cooking, curled up with a good book, entertaining friends and family or even with your favourite meal. A crowd pleaser and great introductory to Niagara reds!

On the nose, the 2021 Sand & Gravel Redcoat is savoury with notes of cherry, raspberry and wet shale. On the palate, fuzzy tannins fill the palette with an exciting youthfulness. This wine has characteristics of black cherry, raspberry and blueberry.

60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot

Food Pairing: This is a great wine to pair with burgers, BBQ foods, firm cheeses, pizza night and cured meats. A great accompaniment for your cheese and charcuterie board!
