2018 Okanagan Valley 750 mL, 13.9% ALC/VOL
$38.91
  • Cabernet Franc
  • Malbec

This non-traditional blend of Cabernet Franc and malbec was produced with fruit sourced from east facing vineyards in Osoyoos. Cabernet franc ripens well in the Okanagan Valley, but Malbec can be far more demanding to reach phenolic ripeness in many vineyards. Fortunately, the 2018 Cabernet Franc Malbec begins with ripe characteristics of plum, cassis, blueberry, mint, herbs and floral notes. The palate is ripe with dark fruit characters, tobacco, moderate acidity, soft medium/full bodied wine followed by firm tannins, age in 40% new French oak for 13 months.

Pair this wine with, grilled meats, spaghetti Bolognese, vegan chili, Mediterranean pizza and hot pot.
