100% stainless steel fermented. 50% malolactic fermentation. 6 months lees contact with limited stirring. A lovely round unoaked Chardonnay that pairs great with food or is a lovely sipper on its' own.

Lillias inches ever so closer to no oak Chablis with a more than fantastic 2020 vintage in pocket. Even without the wood this exhibits sweet chardonnay fruit and a mildly creamy-lactic yogurt note. Plenty of energy, spirit and drive, more than ample ripeness and a real Left Bank, near to Beauroy temperament. One of the first areas to ripen with thanks to no holds barred sunshine and a spritely dolomitic limestone injection. Just botanical enough at the finish to call this a complete wine. Balanced, long and fine. Drink 2021-2023. Tasted June 2021.
