Henry of Pelham Estate Winery is an acclaimed family-owned winery. Built on land passed down through 6 generations, their portfolio shows off the best of what the Niagara Peninsula has to offer. Although history and heritage are a big part of this winery's appeal, they are also thoroughly modern in their ever-expanding sustainable practices.

We were honoured to have the chance to taste an array of their wines. Now we’re sharing some of our favourites with you! You can find all these wines and more in our December Wine Club package.

Estate Riesling, 2017

A beautiful Riesling made from the older vines of their estate vineyards within the Short Hills Bench sub-appellation. Offers a crisp palate with citrusy and zesty flavours of grapefruit and lemon. Goes brilliantly with roasted butternut squash with salt and butter.

Speck Family Reserve Chardonnay, 2017

This medium-bodied Chardonnay spotlights the beauty of Henry of Pelham's wines. It has balanced flavours and is Burgundian in style. There is an undercurrent of minerals with grilled nuts and oak spice on the nose and apple and lemon acidity on the palate. Serve with maple and bacon-roasted Brussels sprouts, grilled shrimp with apricot glaze, or pumpkin ravioli.

Estate Pinot Noir, 2017

This gorgeous red has a beautiful ruby colour and offers aromas of raspberries and earth. On the palate, you'll uncover raspberry and strawberry flavours with a lively acidity. Enjoy with Christmas turkey, honey-mustard roasted salmon, or leek and pecorino pizza.

Estate Gamay, 2016

Medium-bodied and aromatic, this Gamay has cherry, raspberry, and blueberry on the nose. Delicious berry flavour continues on the palate, accented with oak spice. Pair with spinach Gruyère soufflé, grilled hamburgers, or tomato-based pasta dishes.
