The nose is fresh and pure with classic aromas of toasty brioche and light fruity notes of apple and lemon. The mousse is fine with bracing acidity refreshing the palate on the long toasty finish. Certainly perfect to drink now but will further develop complexities through short to medium term aging.

This wine will pair nicely with fresh shucked oysters, white fleshed fish or lobster. Also a perfect pairing with bloomy-rind, double or triple cream cheeses. Or serve on its own as the perfect aperitif. Serve chilled at 5-8° C.

A rich and leesy nose with hints of caramelised apple. The palate is elegantly crisp showing grapefruit, citrus and elements of salt.

"The latest release of the Premier Cuvée from 13th Street is a 50-50 blend of pinot noir and chardonnay, with 48 months on the lees prior to disgorging. The vintage was a warm one for Niagara, and the richness comes through here in the gently oxidative, generous autumnal fruit, all binned apples and dried pears, alongside a generous dose doughy-yeasty-biscuity character. The palate is generously proportioned in the sparkling realm, still framed by brisk acids in an essentially dry and crisp style. Length is very good to excellent. It's a fine Premier Cuvée from 13th Street to be sure, structured, fullish and substantially flavoured all in all, and fairly priced, too. Tasted November 2017."

"4+ STARS: This bone dry bottle of sparkling was made with zero dosage. The aromas offer up a nice toasty note layered over orchard fruit. This is exactly what I would expect from the warm 2012 summer to be captured. Golden delicious apple and citrus dance on the tongue and are met with beautiful acidity. As the wine finishes a mineral note makes itself known and welcome to help round out the package and give this wine some nice depth. "
