Hand picked and hand sorted from reduced crop. Barrel fermented and aged for 7 months in New French oak barrels.
Appearance: Yellow gold colour.
Nose: Strong aroma of melon, vanilla, followed with grassy notes.
Palate: Medium body, lemon, nut and white flower flavours, with interesting minerality and hints of spicy oak balanced with a gentle creaminess.
Food pairings: Smoked salmon, or poached/grilled salmon with cream sauce. Pair with creamy pasta dishes, chicken pot pie, pork with lemon or apples, and cheesy casseroles. Cheeses like mild Cheddar, Gruyere, Monterey Jack, Provolone, and Swiss are your best choices. Enjoy now or store until 2024. Best served between 2019-2021.

Appearance: Clear. Bright. Light hay-coloured core, lighter rim.
Nose: Medium aromatic intensity. Oak spice, green apple, nectarine, pear, yellow plum, vanilla.
Palate: Medium body, medium acid. Toasted almonds, Yellow Delicious apple, yellow plum, vanilla. Baking spice.
Quality: Good quality. A nice, long finish. Oaked for 7 months in new French oak. Drinking well now but could cellar for another 2-3 years.
Food Pairing: Halibut or cod fish and chips, steamed shellfish with butter, corn on the cob, caramelized yams, crispy-skinned roast chicken or duck, and pesto-based pastas with pine nuts.
