Hand picked and hand sorted from reduced crop. Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 10 months in new and used French oak barrels.
Appearance: Pale purple colour.
Nose: Berry fruit, strawberry, raspberry with hints of cedar, and cracked pepper. The nose shows a melange of plums, earth and red fruits.
Palate: Medium-full bodied, well balanced with elegant acidity, followed with soft lingering tannins. It has a good zip on the palate to prop up the abundance of juicy red fruits, plums and peppery notes. Finishes intensely with spices and cherry.
Food pairings: Enjoy it today with hamburgers, Italian dishes with red sauce, barbecued chicken, pizza, and grilled meats. Try it with goat cheese, Camembert, cream cheese, Brie, and other soft cheeses. Serve this wine slightly chilled. Enjoy now, or store until at least 2021.

Appearance: Bright. Semi-opaque. Light garnet core, lighter rim.
Nose: Medium aromatic intensity. Red cherry, blackberry, cranberry, a touch of barnyard, and a wisp of nori/seaweed.
Palate: Medium- body, medium acid, medium+ tannin. Bright cherry that is almost under ripe, forest floor, black pepper. Cigar ash.
Quality: Very good quality. Still a new and fresh vintage, this Gamay could use 2-3 years more cellaring time to age and deepen.
Food Pairing: Picnic foods like ham sandwiches, deviled eggs, and paté, sausages, virtually any chicken dish, seared tuna, pan-fried salmon, and Santa Fe chicken salad.
