Tasting Notes: A beautiful Pinot nose of cherry, currant and strawberry rhubarb jam. The palate is medium bodied with ripe tannins and a concentrated lingering finish.
Food Pairings: Traditional pairings such as beef bourginon, grilled salmon and charcuterie will pair wonderfully. Try something different with a grilled brie panini or a chicken dish with roasted tomatoes and peppers.
Vinification: These grapes were hand harvested on October 4th and fermented in traditional open top fermenters. We then aged in French oak barrels for 19 months.
