A vintage like this only comes around once in a while, and boy did we make the most of it. The heat of the summer, that lingered through a dry fall, with cool nights made for idyllic Pinot ripeness without pushing into “jammy”. The resulting wine is a bold expression of what the Twenty Mile Bench can do with the right conditions. Looking forward to this wine for years to come.

Nose: Lightly floral, a black raspberry bouquet with oak spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, firmly structured, richly extracted red berry flavours with velvety tannins. Beautifully balanced and seamless.
Quality: 90 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding. Drink now or in the next couple of years.
Food Pairing: Lobster tails with salsa verde, baked frittata with pesto, cherry tomatoes, and goat cheese, sticky pork and crispy noodle salad, leek and pecorino flatbread, and hearty beef stew.
