Fogolar Wines Cabernet Franc, 2021

The white label Cabernet Franc is approachable and balanced with complexity and a true representation of the varietal. Ruby with purple tinges with aromas of cranberry, blackberry, bramble, and baking spices with hints of floral and vanilla. Lush tannin on a medium-full palate backed up by juicy acidity with spice and dark fruit flavours. Versatile for food or to be enjoyed on its own. Try with tomato-based pastas and stews, charcuterie, and barbecued meats, especially lamb or pork speducci.
