Description
Aromas of plum, cherry and a hint of strawberry jam with underlying tones of light oak, vanilla and toffee. Soft silky tannins with a medium bodied structure with nice flavours of blueberry and blackberry to finish the wine. Lingering notes of cedar and plums on the palate.

Vineyard: Gold Hill Estate, South Oliver & Haynes Point Vineyard, South Osoyoos
Residual Sugar: 3.4 g/L

Appearance: Deep ruby colour.
Nose: Cedary, smoky, blackcurrant bouquet with oak spice.
Palate: Medium to full-bodied, sweet black fruit flavours. Rich and mouth-filling, fleshy but well-balanced and firmly structured. Evident tannins on the finish.
Quality: Very Good+ to Outstanding. 89-91 points. Hold 1 – 2 years.
Food Pairing: Baked BBQ pork turnover, fried blue cheese-stuffed olives, steak and cheddar melt, meatballs in plum sauce, and ham and marinara pasta.
