Description
This full-bodied Syrah is a rich and complex red wine with nuances of lavender, spice, anise and vanilla and delicate hints of raspberry, cherry and pepper notes. Pairs well with grilled meats or medium-rare cuts, including beef, lamb, ribs or duck, as well as goat cheese and sheep cheese. Aged in French Oak barrels for 18 months.

Vineyard: Gold Hill Estate, South Oliver
Residual Sugar: 2.07 g/L

Appearance: Deep ruby-purple colour.
Nose: Cedary, smoked meat nose with vanilla notes.
Palate: Full-bodied, dry, rich and ripe mulberry flavour with oak spice carried on lively acidity to a rose petal finish. Great length.
Quality: Outstanding. 90 points. Drink now or hold for 1 – 2 years.
Food Pairing: Braised beef calzone, lamb and potato curry, chickpea ratatouille, cracked pepper beef jerky, and pork belly udon.
