Sporting a bold splash of ruby-garnet, this Merlot will charm you with its immediacy; singing out in bell tones of black fruit (plum, cassis) and dried cherry flavours. The soft tannic structure feels suspended in the fruit adding depth and pure unsullied pleasure. It’s perfect summer bistro fare. Unoaked.
Food Pairings: Pork, duck and poultry recipes, such as Stuffed cranberry breast chicken, Pork tenderloin with tart cherry-caraway sauce, Duck breast with grilled plums, and Braised lamb shanks.
