This is the first ever single varietal Cabernet Franc red wine we have produced from our South Bay Vineyard. The small 3.5 acre plot was planted in 2002 and was originally used to blend in with our merlot and in the past 10 years the fruit has been used to make our rosé. In 2016 we decided to crop it to a low yield in order to concentrate the sugars in the grape and produce a single varietal red with it. The wine was fermented and macerated in a 4200L oak tank then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
