The 2015 Voyageur Riesling was made from fruit grown in two distinct vineyard blocks that Keint-he manages in the Niagara region. The fruit is handpicked and transported to our winery in Prince Edward County for processing the same day. The fruit is hand sorted and given a gentle pressing before a long cold fermentation to preserve the fruits natural aromatics. The final wine is bottled with just the right amount of residual sugar to give the wine a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The nose is full of citrus and lemon blossom followed by Honeycrisp apple and a touch of stone fruit. The citrus carries through on the palate along with notes of pear and wet stone. This wine offers a great balance of beautiful acidity with a hint of sweetness that continues into a long lasting finish.
