Mt. Boucherie Family Estate Winery
Mt. Boucherie's award-winning wines reflect the bounty of our 100 percent family-grown grapes, cultivated in the Okanagan and Similkameen Valley soil. Family-owned and operated since 1968, Mt. Boucherie has evolved from a masterful grape grower into one of British Columbia's premier wineries. The Family has long owned vineyards in 3 different locations including Cawston (Similkameen), Okanagan Falls and Westbank (both Okanagan Valley).
Over the last decade, the Okanagan Valley has emerged as North America's newest premium winegrowing region. This area of British Columbia is a unique and beautiful wine region featuring a diversity of vines that thrive in various microclimates, providing winemakers a multitude of options to express their creative talents and technical experience. The Okanagan Valley falls in the northern hemisphere's wine-growing belt and shares the same latitude as northern German and French vineyards. While the term "cool-climate" is used to encapsulate the wine region, unique microclimates exist throughout the Valley. The northern tip of the Okanagan Valley is at 50°N, and the southern tip is at 49°.
The essence of Mt. Boucherie Family Estate Winery's commitment is quality control. From the vine to the bottle, our team takes care of every detail, every choice, every grape and every drop of wine. Our consistency comes from the ability to oversee all the decisions - from planting and growing the fruit, irrigation and pruning, harvesting, winemaking and bottling. This commitment to the vineyards, the fruit, the winery and the customer on every level provides the extra "TLC" that we believe can be tasted in the end product.
