TASTING NOTES
Dark garnet colour. A beautiful example of a Bordeaux style wine, with aromas of black raspberries and currants. One sip of this wine and you will see why it is worthy of such a prestigious name. Taste buds will celebrate the flavours of delightful cocoa with a sprinkle of tobacco.
FOOD PAIRING
Tender cut of prime rib, roasted lamb or grilled portobello mushrooms.

Critic's Rating
This is a fairly rounded, open-knit and accessible red grown on Pelee Island, Canada's most southerly point. It has ripe nose of blackcurrant/cassis, some meatiness, fresh herbs and well handled oak spice. It is medium-full bodied, quite savoury and fresh. Wanted a bit more acid, structure and length. But very good. Tasted October 2020
