From the highly coveted 'Desert Valley Vineyard' located in the heart of the newly anointed 'Golden Mile Bench' sub-region, the 2014 vintage continues on with Perseus' tradition of producing some of the finest Cabernet Franc in British Columbia.
Our 2014 incarnation displays the greatness of this long, warm vintage. Welcoming aromatics of blackberry, pencil lead and dried herbs intermingled with delicate notes of violet. The texture of this wine is what truly stands out with its broad palate and beguilingly delicate flavours.
This wine calls for 7+ years in the cellar, but those too anxious to wait will be rewarded if paired with a hearty and rich dish like braised short ribs.

Perseus Winery is perched on a hill at the foot of the Naramata Bench. With ideal climate and soil conditions, this winery produces sun-kissed, aromatic whites, fruit forward yet crisp rosés, and big, spicy reds.
This Cabernet Franc is nuanced and layered with personality. Rich fruit, bold spice, and smoke. Smooth and silky on the palate, but with enough tannins to make it sit up straight. Mellow, but with an experienced complexity.
