55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot
This bold wine with breakbeats of berries, heavy bass lines of dark chocolate and high notes of tobacco is sure to get a standing ovation. An experienced trio of Cab Sav, Merlot and Cab Franc deliver on the structure, colour and taste of a classic bordeaux style blend. This wine is a reminder of why we still listen to the greats even if we have heard the song before.

Located in Penticton, BC, Play Estate Winery pays dramatic homage to the art of performance by naming many of its wines after an aspect of the theatre. Their 14-acre vineyard produces a gorgeous, premium portfolio of bright white wines and rich reds, with some refreshing rosé for good measure.
The 2015 Applause is most certainly deserving of its name. Big, bold, weighty, and rich, this wine is an A-lister. Predominantly made from Cabernet Sauvignon, the typically strong green notes are more muted allowing the softer mocha and cacao flavours to emerge. Enjoy!
