Tank-fermented "Charmat" sparkling wines are more economical and easier-drinking alternatives to traditional bubblies. We are proud to offer both styles to you. The 2017 vintage gave us wonderfully balanced fruit with bright citrus acidity and fruit forward aromatics.
On the nose: Whiffs of Meyer lemon, tart green apple and lemon balm hint at the mélange of citrus to come on the palate, while notes of wet-stone created a reminiscent thought of a rainy spring day.
In the glass: The 2017 vintage gave us wonderfully balanced white fruit for Charmat. This blend of Chardonnay and Musqué make Mile High a harmonious mélange of citrus and fruity aromatics that are all brightened by a spine of mouth-watering acidity.
Food pairing: Like the wine, we suggest cheerful dishes with this Charmat method sparkling. Lemongrass-infused basmati rice with Thai basil chicken and a sprinkling of julienned red chilis is just the right combination of citrus, and a sweet heat juxtaposition to make each new bite more intriguing than the previous.
