A smooth balanced red wine one can enjoy with while cooking, curled up with a book, entertaining, or even with your favourite meal. This wine is a crowd pleaser, and great introductory red to Niagara wines.
Tasting Note: Our 2018 Redcoat is a lovely garnet red. Ripe aromas of black cherry, spice, leather, and coffee fill your glass. Soft dusty tannins, strawberry jam, and coca come through on the palate but the wine finishes dry and with a small touch of acidity teasing your palate for more.
Food Pairing: This is a great wine with burgers, BBQ, cheeses, pizza and cured meats.

Nose: Red cherry, smoke, earth.
Palate: Medium acid, medium+ tannin, medium body. Dry. Red cherry, green vegetal notes, hint of black pepper. Violet.
Quality: 88 points. Ample tannins with a lovely, long finish. Drink now or within 3 years.
Food Pairing: Chicken with Dijon sauce, stir-fried green vegetables with black pepper, quattro stagione pizza, spaghetti alla puttanesca, and charcuterie with warm marinated olives.
