Tasting Notes
This wine was featured in February’s Wine Club package.
Geographical Indication: Okanagan Valley, B.C.
Vineyard: Estate Vineyard.
Appearance: Bright. Semi-opaque. Garnet core, lighter pink rim.
Nose: Medium+ intensity aromas of black cherry, plum, stewed red fruit, baking spice, black pepper, and vegetal notes of eucalyptus.
Palate: Medium body, medium acid, and medium tannin. Black cherry and stewed plums on the palate with a toasty character from the oak aging.
Quality: A very good quality red blend. Drink now or cellar for the next 4 years.
Food pairings: Cheesy mushroom pizza, bison burgers, smoked charcuterie, bruschetta, polenta fries with marinara sauce, classic spaghetti with meatballs.
