A fresh, complex nose of bright red berry, red currant jelly, rain-damp cedar grove with a whiff of dark rye cracker and summer savory.
Vivid red and black berries dominate the attack. Glossy red currant and blackberry pick up the note of savory on the great finish.

Palate: Light-to-medium-bodied, dry, cherry and cranberry flavours with lively acidity. A firmly-structured, chillable red.
Quality: Very Good+. 89 points. Drink now through 2022.
Food Pairing: Cajun shrimp pasta, fried calamari with sweet chili sauce, cream cheese and spinach-stuffed jalapeños, plank salmon with cinnamon-dusted squash, and turkey meatloaf with balsamic glaze.
