Pinot Noir – a study in patience and precision and a true labour of love for our entire team.

Deep and brooding, this wine juxtaposes sweet berry and lifted floral aromas against notes of fresh wet earth and mushroom. Hints of anise and fennel round out the complex aromatic profile. The earthy character follows through on the palate along with Black Doris plum, chokecherry and dark chocolate. The finish is long and structured with a vein of minerality and promises a long, age-worthy life for this wine.

Our very best Pinot Noir blocks were handpicked into 30 pound totes and vinified in small lots, using a combination of native and non-native yeasts. The small batches were then placed into a selection of new and seasoned French oak barrels for 12 months and blended just prior to bottling in September 2013.

“A lovely, elegant BC Pinot Noir from one of the province’s most respected producers. Aromas of wild cherry, spice and violets. Pair with truffle-accented dishes and risotto.”
