From the estate’s certified organic/biodynamic vineyard on the Vinemount Ridge. The nose shows black cherry, anise, bramble-underbrush, toasted oak spice, violets and raspberry bush. It is like silk on the palate with gorgeous savoury spices on top of warm cherry, anise, licorice, raspberry and earth that is complex and layered through a long finish. Drink now or cellar five years or more. A beauty.
